Dortmund/London. CCD Pumps Limited, an English company for service, distribution and installation of pressure boosting systems, was taken over by the Wilo Group in December 2006. By means of the acquisition the pump manufacturer from Dortmund, Germany, wants to extend its service network in Great Britain. The excellent customer relations of CCD Pumps Ltd., above all in Greater London, shall strengthen the presence in the business area water supply on the British market. With 60 employees the company gained an annual turnover of about ten million Euro in 2006. The company, which received the 'Pumps Industry Award 2006', is at first going to perform on the market under the brand CCD and it is going to be connected to the Wilo Group through an advisory committee. The management board is assigned to Stuart Herritty in addition to its function as the manager of WILO UK.
